Become the architect of the digital
Immerse yourself in the world of software and hardware architecture and be the person who creates the systems in which people navigate.
Cooperate with industry during your studies
Our faculty is strongly entwined with local industry partners. You will be taught by experts from the "real world" and get in touch with interesting people in the companies themselves. Start your career early!
The programme "Computer Systems, Communications and Security" aims to lead its graduates to an understanding of architectures, principles, design methods, and operations of secure computer systems, respecting both hardware and software aspects including network communications. The graduate will also gain deeper knowledge in one of the chosen specialisations of the programme.
Specialization "Hardware Systems" will lead to acquiring practical skills for design, implementation, analysis, testing, and operations of embedded systems.
Specialization "Software Systems" will lead the graduate towards the knowledge and skills necessary in all stages of development and changes in extensive software systems, especially information systems. Emphasis is set on the knowledge essential at the design and development of systems with deployed modern software technologies.
Specialization "Information Security" will prepare the graduate to work in the development and management of systems supporting security operations, with the ability to thoughtfully select and apply methods supporting particular security functionality in computer systems.
Graduate profile
Programme graduates will be prepared to design and maintain operations of secure computer systems with respect to both hardware and software aspects, including network communications. Graduates in the specialisation "Hardware Systems" will be prepared to design solutions for practical problems with the use of computer hardware, to adjust hardware systems creatively and to deploy them.
Graduates in the specialisation "Software Systems" will be ready to take various roles in the IT departments taking part in the development and operations of information systems and the use of IT for support of organisations.
Graduates of the specialisation "Information Security" will be able to work in organisations developing or providing systems respecting security requirements, but also in advanced management and operations of such systems.
